Classical Plays Syracuse 2025

For more than 110 years, the Greek Theater has treasured the timeless titles that tell of the lights and shadows of the human soul and have shaped world culture. Here are the titles scheduled for Season 2025:

• Electra by Sophocles, directed by Roberto Andò – May 9 to June 6
• Oedipus at Colonus by Sophocles, directed by Robert Carsen – May 10 to June 26 Lysistrata by Aristophanes, directed by Serena Sinigaglia – June 13 to 27
• Iliad, directed by Giuliano Peparini – July 4 to 6 Each performance is a unique experience that only the Greek Theater of Syracuse can offer.
